WHAT IS

THE SHELTOWEE FOUNDATION?

The Sheltowee Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that supports entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial ecosystem building. The Sheltowee Foundation promotes the core values of the Sheltowee ecosystem.

Entrepreneurship is the foundation upon which the United States of America was built. The word entrepreneur itself means "one who assumes the risk." The first risk takers which boarded ships and traveled across the Atlantic to build better lives for themselves, set the foundation for this country.

Entrepreneurs have built the innovations that have driven humanity forward to reach the stars. But the path of the entrepreneur can be a challenging one. The Sheltowee Foundation provides resources and matierals to help entrepreneurs along their journey. With a special focus on helping entrepreneurs in rural areas, the Sheltowee Foundation helps entrepreneurs through education and inspiration.
